State of Kansas Tax Credits awarded to local Johnson County, KS Non Profit
For the last 20 years Friends has purchased and remodeled homes to make them accessible; removing barriers for wheelchairs, installing ramps, widening doorways and hallways and ensured that houses remain affordable for individuals to rent by individuals served by Johnson County Developmental Supports.
In late 2018 Friends was awarded $80,000 in State of Kansas Community Service Tax Credits. These credits are a great opportunity for local business and individuals to purchase and reduce their state of Kansas tax liability all while donating to a great cause.
From now until the end of 2019, or when all credits are sold, Friends of JCDS will provide Kansas tax credits to donors who give $250.00 or more and stipulate that the donation is earmarked for the building of additional housing right here in Johnson County! Donors will receive a 50% of their donation in a State of Kansas Tax Credit for the tax year that their donation was received.
If you are interested in participating it’s as simple as 1…2…3
