2023
2023 was a busy year for Friends of JCDS! Here is a preview of what we accomplished:
Thanks to our wonderful volunteers and supporters:
179 volunteers completed over 1,000 hours of service at our homes!
Three gentlemen moved into a new home that is completely accessible & affordable to them!
The Widmer house is well on its way to completion in late Spring of 2024.
The KSU House Plans were completed and will be started soon!
Our 23rd Home was purchased and is in process.
You helped us to invest over $60,000 to address special assistance needs that included meals, gardens, clothing, and basic assistance in 2023.
And finally, last, but not least, we have just went under contract on our 24th home, which will complete JCDS’s need for 24 residential locations.
